i.To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practical for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes;
ii.To set, invigilate and mark undergraduate and postgraduate examinations;
iii.To mentor junior staff in relevant fields;
iv.To participate/contribute in curriculum development;
v.To participate in developing and managing various university activities;
vi.To conduct research and publish/disseminate results;
vii.To carry out consultancy and community services;
viii.To write teaching manuals and compendia;
ix.To supervise field practicals, undergraduate special projects, Masters and PhD dissertations/theses;
x.To attend/organize workshops, conferences and symposia; and
xi.To perform any work of the University as assigned by relevant authorities.
PhD in Medical Microbiology and Immunology or PhD in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, or PhD in Microbiology and Immunology or PhD in Veterinary Medicine or PhD in Applied Zoology(Parasitology) and Master of Science Degree in one of the following; Medical Microbiology and Immunology or Medical Microbiology and Parasitology or Microbiology and Immunology or Veterinary Medicine or MSc. in Applied Zoology and a BSc. in a relevant fied.
